Sam Householder is currently the communications manager at Elkhart Public Library.

Previously, he worked as the chief photographer for The Elkhart Truth in Elkhart, Ind. He has won numerous awards for his photography including multiple NPPA Monthly Clip contests, HSPA contests and Indiana Associated Press awards.

Before that he worked at The Goshen News in Goshen, Ind., The Quad-City Times in Davenport, Iowa and for KPC Media in Kendallville, Ind.

He graduated from Ball State University in 2010 with a degree in photojournalism.

Sam enjoys photographing sports, automobiles and breaking news but is always interested in a new challenge.

In his free time he writes for the Chicago Bears blog WindyCityGridiron.com.

He lives in Indiana with his wife Ashley, their daughter Holly and their cat Rascal.
